Crowns
(Partials & full dentures)

A crown (cap) is a restoration that is placed on teeth that have lost a lot of their structure. There are many different types of crowns, full porcelain, porcelain fused to metal, full metal crowns.
A partial, or RPD, is a denture for patients that are partially edentulous and still have teeth remaining in the arch.  A partial is removable and maintains stability using clasps around the existing teeth, while resting on the edentulous ridge(s).
Full dentures are used to replace a full arch of missing teeth. They rely on suction, muscle coordination, and the underlying soft and hard tissues for support. As changes occur to the soft and hard tissues with long term wear, relining of the denture may be necessary.

Teeth Cleaning & Whitening

Teeth whitening is a simple process. Whitening products contain one of two tooth bleaches (hydrogen peroxide or carbamide peroxide). These bleaches break stains into smaller pieces, which makes the color less concentrated and your teeth brighter.

Bridges, Implants and Dentures

A bridge, also called a “fixed bridges” or a “fixed dental prosthesis”, is similar to a partial denture. The key difference is that bridges are not removable.

If you don’t have healthy teeth or enough teeth necessary to support a bridge your bridge will need to be supported using dental implants.

Getting dentures is a big change and can take some getting used to. There are a wide variety of denture types available, but not every type is suitable for every mouth. Depending on your particular dental needs your denturist will be able to recommend which type of denture is best for you.
